Ramon Guzman is an actor in Los Angeles who was born in Racine, WI. Ramon grew up in a family of performers and musicians so the stage was never really foreign to him. Whether he was performing in numerous musical groups as a singer, saxophone player or theatrical performer throughout his childhood and college days, he always enjoyed the power of performance and the spiritual effects it had on him. He likens it very much to the "runner's high" one gets on a long run.

In childhood, among his greatest influences was his father who worked as a farm tractor factory assemblyman but realized in middle-age that he wanted more creative endeavors and began a career in radio. His father went on to become a local hometown radio personality and DJ when he created Exitos Musicales,  a weekly AM radio Spanish language music show. It was in his father's home recording studio in their basement where Ramon's love for music and performance grew.

In 1988, as a college junior Ramon got his first taste of a feature film set when he auditioned for a role as a baseball player in the movie Major League. Upon arrival to the cattle call, he instead was asked to audition as a stand-in and background double for Charlie Sheen. He won the job and spent the next three months on set. While this interrupted college plans briefly, Ramon eventually graduated with a degree in Business from Ripon College.

Like his father, Ramon put creativity on the back-burner to establish a more steady livelihood and after nearly 25 years in the business world and moves from LA to Brooklyn, NY and back to LA, he decided his life was in need of more creative passions again. After obtaining training in improv, stand-up comedy, acting, filmmaking, and photography at Upright Citizens Brigade, Second City, iOWest, NYU, and a number of other LA institutions, Ramon embarked once again on creative pursuits and is currently establishing his career in theatrical and commercial acting.

Ramon and his wife, Megan, are strong advocates of rescue animals and they enjoy a fur family of three dogs and two cats - all of which were either rescues or strays.
